David K. Palmer
DAVID PALMER began practicing law with Bill Cullen in May of 1991. David provides business law advice to small business owners and non-profit organizations. He helps people prepare for illness and death, providing both legal advice and document assistance, such as, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives. When the end comes, David guides and represents clients through the probate process. Before moving to Olympia, David was an attorney and shareholder at Beving, Swanson & Forrest, P.C. in Des Moines, Iowa. David received his Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of Iowa and his Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the Thurston County, Iowa, Washington, and American Bar Associations. He served as President of the Thurston County Young Lawyers for 1993-94. The Rotary Club of South Puget Sound / Olympia selected David as its President twice: 1996-97 and 2008-09. Mr. Palmer has lectured to entrepreneurs about business law and to families about wills, trusts, powers of attorney and other planning options. David is married to his best friend Sally and they have 2 children, Andy and Emily. His interests include history, backpacking, hiking and camping, cycling, canoeing and kayaking, and Notre Dame football.
